Dennis in Stockings: The first time I dressed as a girl, I was eight years old. I don’t want to be a woman. I am happy the way I am. I just enjoy the kick

Take a look to the work of Freya Najade, a german photographer living in London, specially an ongoing project with the name “If you are lucky you get old” where old people share retrospective thinking about their life. The images feel real and  intimate, a project that reminds the viewer that future feelings are being written by living today. The series has the emotional perspective to involve the viewer, not only from the photography side but also to think on its own story that will be.

Dennis in his Room: I have my own house, where I live half of the year. Sometimes I don’t talk for a week to anybody there. In the summer I rent a room in a gay retirement home. I enjoy meeting people of my kind
