Benjamin Reed
Sometimes browsing the web leads to the finding of images that suddenly grab my attention because I feel they have something very special, they are elegantly beautiful, well crafted, interesting and more, they are enigmatic. This happened to me yesterday, while browsing the new upcoming contest by PDN, Faces (curiously the image presented by PDN is cropped and losses a lot of the impact of the original image). The image, that looks to come from the series Mad Men, is from Benjamin Reed, a commercial photographer located in Los Angeles. Exploring his portfolio I found really excellent work, very creative, with impact, diverse and interesting.
The series Afar Man (read more on the series at his blog) and the Seven Deadly Sins, where each photography represents one of the seven sins, a very creative series, each crafted to perfection. I am quite impressed on how eloquently the images of The Seven Deadly sins display a visual representation of each sin.
