Looking back to “The Week in Pictures”

MSNBC was the first initiating what would become a new way to publish news online, the use of multimedia slideshows depicting selected images for the week. Ten years ago Brian Storm, then multimedia director at msnbc, started “the week in pictures“. Now this video remembers the significance of online slideshows at news channels. The companion slideshow is very interesting to browse. I love in “The Week in Pictures” the combination of happy and humorous pictures with the dramatic views of current news. Although very contrasting in the emotions that they elicit, it helps to go through hard images.
