Speaking of the first photograph of the figure with the head wrap, I enjoy the unsettling ambiguity of the image. I enjoy the positioning of the head, the slight forward slouch of the body, and the vulnerability in the gaze. The figure is very much a representation of a human--not a man or woman specifically. The head wrap could be indicative of a culturally specific, feminine clothing item of some kind, but for me, just as you said, this image is about the feeling. It is about the feeling of the figure, the artist, and the emotions conveyed by the artist''s portrayal of the figure.
