Gender, poverty and power: a photo-competition

Winning the opportunity to be exhibit your images with  Nan Goldin’s work is quite an award. Contributing, and perhaps winning a competition for such a noble cause, is something worth considering

Vice magazine has teamed up with CTRL.ALT.SHIFT and Nan Goldin to launch a truly unique photography competition. We are eager to find images that combine gender, power and poverty. Winners will have the opportunity to be mentored by one of VICE photo team, have their work featured online, as well as in both Vice and CTRL.ALT.SHIFT magazines, before finally being displayed alongside the work of Nan Goldin in a London Gallery in late January.

  3. Dear Gem,

I think you may be correct. I could not find the date, but visiting the link you shared, it seems that the deadline was Nov 24th. I had in mind it was in January 2009, sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks for sharing the link.
