A different perspective to create special images

Photography is about creativity applied to many dimensions. One of these is to consider different perspectives of the image, thus “making” the picture not by altering the subject but by providing a unique view that normally would be missed. In sports photography, where many photographers work at unison to report the event, it is the small details what makes the difference from one more image to a unique one.  I always found very intriguing the ability of some editorial photographers, in particular sports photographers, to gain a distinct vantage point that leads to special images. In this case the polyvalent Vincent Laforet, surprises us again with a series that is a lot of fun to look at. Work for Newsweek, that you can see here.
