A Digital Polaroid?

Is a digital Polaroid coming in the future?

Just “attach” a digital camera to a printer  like the new Polaroid’s pocket-sized PoGo, but with improved  print quality, and … well, we will see. It would be nice if it happens. We will see if Polaroid delivers.

The camera will be the first Polaroid consumer digital camera to print photographs targeted at ‘professional and business users’, producing  4×3 in prints. The firm hopes the new camera, which is due out in 2009, will appeal to consumers lamenting the death of Polaroid’s instant film models. It will use the firm’s built-in ZINK digital printing technology, first used on Polaroid’s pocket-sized PoGo, a standalone printer delivering 2×3in prints, launched in July. 1. that would be cool. Package it in a device that hearkens back to the look nd feel of Polaroid cameras. If it spat out the print in the front… good times. :) They could even have a camera sound to mimic the motor drive as the print came out on a Polaroid. :)

  2. I agree … the more it looks like the old polaroids the better … perhaps we will be lucky although I don’t expect Polaroid to try mimic the look of the old Polaroid film …

    Thanks for sharing.
