Blog Action Day, a call to talk about poverty

Blog Action Day 2008, will take place on October 15th. If you are a reader of this blog and have your own blog, please pass the message around and let’s join forces to talk about poverty [info]

Thousands of view points, thousands of perspectives, all converging on a key topic for our generation, poverty. I will think about how best to contribute, and I hope you all be part of this interesting effort. A chance to join forces and scream loud for solutions.

It is about time, it is our time.

P.S. Please if you have ideas on how we can make that day special and raise money to fight poverty, I will love to hear from you.

    Hi Miguel,

Poverty is a modern plague that cripple many individuals, families and nation which generally is caused by unequal distribution of wealth (this include the country where I live- Philippines). Reducing this would entail the help of both governments and its citizens.

Its always been a noble undertaking to at least alleviate poverty in our own little way. Photographers can donate limited edition prints which can be exhibited/ auctioned. Income generated from these can be donated to a poor community somewhere.
