New site to trade your photography. It will launch July 11th and if you are interested in becoming a “founding artist” the first year the fees will be canceled … below some information I received from the company …

We are making the offer of free membership (for the first 12 months) to 150 Founding Artists.
Once we have our Founding Artists we will open up membership to all artists. We are targeting 5000 artists on the site when it is fully developed. We will begin acquiring members on July 11 and hope to add 50 to 100 members per week. Membership cost is $50 per year for Student Artists. Other packages are $59, $79 and $99 per year. Commission on sale of art ranges from 5% to 10% and there is the usual 3% credit card fee. Commissions and fees only are charged when art is sold.
We also are offering negotiable terms for artists who are “Advanced Sellers”. These are artists who are top, online sellers. [from "Discovered Artists"]
Thanks for passing this on. Their site was so vague, with so little concrete information, I emailed them asking them for more details. Who is “Discovered Talent Inc”, what is their art marketing experience, etc. I’ll let you know if I hear anything interesting.
Just to follow up: Brian from Discovered Artists replied to my email, and gave me a lot of information about who they are, their backgrounds, and their goals for their site. I was greatly encouraged by their energy and dedication.
