"The Bad Boys Of Vice" by Chris Buck is a distillation of many elements that I admire about Chris Buck's artistry.

For me the picture shows sides of the subjects which one feels we are not seeing routinely. Chris seems to be able to draw people away from "business as usual" in a manner that is not pretentious, paparazzi or staged. Chris Buck does something with his craft and his subjects, where they present sides of themselves that are very authentic. The pictures make you less interested in the subject or celebrity as an icon or image, and much more focussed on the internal landscape of the person you are looking at.

It's impossible to not see Chris Buck's mischievious sense of humor. I don't know of anyone who can tell a joke with a picture better than Chris.
