After visiting the Picasso Museum in Barcelona yesterday, my appetite was whetted for more Picasso. Out of all the souvenirs I could have carried back to the B&B, David Duncan's book with photographs of Lump sharing Picasso's world is the only thing I bought. It captures an essence of the man and artist that makes one feel that Picasso could have an accessible and intimate side, as opposed to the aloof, distant and difficult man he is often portrayed as. The paintings shown in the book are among the final exhibits in the museum. This book gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling--and you have given it justice in the review and the photographs shown here.
