Are these Lebanese, are these tourists, are these rich kids having a fun tour around a neighborhood hit by the missils? Who are them?.
These are the questions that many asked when the winning image of the World Press Photo of the Year 2006 was announced few weeks ago. Journalist Gert Van Langendonck, loooked for and located the subjects of Spencer Platt’s prize-winning photo. This is their story.
